Watchdrift FAQ
Watchdrift FAQ
Plain answers about monitoring, credits, digital delivery, account access, data, and refunds.
What is a credit?
One credit is one page check. A monitor checked every hour uses 24 credits a day. Network failures and target HTTP errors return the check credit automatically.
Is this a subscription?
No. Each Shopify purchase is a prepaid pack. Nothing renews automatically. Buying another pack adds credits to the same account.
Which pages can I monitor?
Public pages that do not require signing in. Watchdrift does not bypass logins, CAPTCHAs, paywalls, or access controls.
Does Watchdrift parse PDFs?
No. It monitors the page or public JSON source you select. A new or changed PDF link is reported, but Watchdrift does not download or parse the linked document.
How do I receive my account?
After Shopify payment, Watchdrift creates or reuses the account for the checkout email, adds the purchased checks, emails a one-time login link, and marks the order fulfilled automatically.
Can I use the API?
API and webhook access are included with Pro and Agency. Generate or rotate the API key from the dashboard.
What data does Watchdrift store?
The account email, monitoring settings, and snapshots needed for diffs and history. Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
What is the refund policy?
The policy allows a 14-day friendly refund on unused, recently purchased packs, subject to exceptions for used credits, immediate digital access, abuse, and violations of the Acceptable Use Policy.
